How to Help

The Cheltenham extension is now completed and the GWR is the largest all volunteer run railway in the country. The staff including the directors are all unpaid. The GWR has been denied Lottery funding thus far and receives few grants or public subsidy. To reach Broadway we need to raise a great deal of money. How soon we can open the extension will be decided in part by how quickly we can do this.

If you would like to help us, there are a number of ways that this can be done :

(1) By becoming a member. See the official site
Adult membership £11 per annum, Life, Senior Citizens, Joint and Child's memberships are available. Travel benefits and regular magazine. Cheques to GWR Ltd.

(2) By purchasing shares in the Railway. See the official site.
A minimum of £5/month direct debit or £50 or more as a single purchase. Travel Benefits.

(3) By an unsecured loan.
5 Year unsecured loan certificate £250, you may apply for more than one.

(4) By donation.
Cheques should be made payable to GWSR PLC Donations over £10 will be acknowledged.
